Exhibited as a graduate school elective project, the nightstand represents a pure expression of minimalism combined with modern design aesthetic for people who use low bed frame and mattress that can also be blended with modern house interior. The structure of the Ci is fabricated by CNC cut of ¾” Baltic birch plywood and joined together with the torsion box for extra structure. Moreover, the tabletop is fabricated by kerf bending the MDF to celebrate smooth curve transition of each corner.
