Project Goal
Design a compact skincare applicator using a magnetic system for hygienic, mess-free clay mask application. Ensure even coverage across complex facial contours with ergonomic comfort and easy cleaning.
About the Project
The Touchless Magnetic Peeling Mask is a handheld applicator with a contoured metal spatula for smooth, consistent clay mask application without direct hand contact. Its geometry follows facial contours for precise coverage, while the all-metal housing and standable base enhance durability, hygiene, and storage.
Contribution and Key Challenges
Resolved prototype structural issues by repositioning the parting line for improved sealing and visual cleanliness
Converted housing to all-metal construction for durability and premium CMF alignment
Optimized spatula curvature for smooth, consistent application
Added thicker grip and standable base for improved ergonomics and storage hygiene
Preventing separation between metal touchpoint and silicone body under repeated use
Ensuring aesthetic clarity while integrating new parting line placement
