Design a compact facial and body roller integrating high-frequency vibration for consistent massage performance. Ensure ergonomic comfort, effective skin contact, and manufacturable construction.
About the Project
The Sonic Facial & Body Roller delivers over 14,000 vibrations per minute through dual rotating spheres with a textured wave pattern. The design optimizes skin contact across facial and body contours, balancing ergonomic handling, technical integration, and production efficiency
Contribution and Key Challenges
Led handle redesign to correct curved parting line that caused silicone loosening
Integrated a fully wrapped silicone handle extending to spheres for durability and grip
Refined sphere contour and texture for consistent contact and comfortable gliding
Tuned rotation behavior for controlled, even sensation across different body areas
Addressing manufacturing complications from original parting line design
