Project Goal
Re-design the vent to create a more powerful visual identity and develop a disposable pad pattern that emphasized dust capture while signaling easy grip and alignment.
About the Project
VACMOP Pro introduced an all-in-one pad system that locked debris and grime without filters or maintenance. As an intern, I contributed design explorations that reinforced performance while keeping the product approachable and easy to use.
Contribution and Key Challenges
I assisted in the early design phase by sketching and modeling several vent concepts that visually emphasized suction power. My work contributed to the vertical vent direction chosen for production. I also created and refined graphic patterns for the disposable mop pad using Illustrator. One of my proposals, the honeycomb design, was selected for production because it visually reinforced dust-capturing performance.
Proposing vent ideas that expressed airflow strength while fitting the overall housing geometry.
Developing pad graphics that were simple, repeatable, and aligned with the brand.
Contributing effectively as an intern while collaborating with designers, engineers, and marketing teams under fast timelines.
